Stewart’s practice brings together the intersecting fields of contemporary art, environmental activism, and political ecology. His practice addresses ecological deterioration through poetry, painting, audio, sculpture in the expanded field, with a touch of nihilism. Through his material choices, Stewart highlights the industries and chains of production complicit in environmental degradation.
